Grants for Great Ideas! is a program designed to support Frisco ISD educators in bringing innovative ideas to life—enhancing the learning experience for students across the District, campus, and classroom levels.

Each year, educators are invited to submit proposals for creative projects that support student achievement. The process includes:

  • Idea submission: Educators propose innovative projects or initiatives
  • Impact focus: Each proposal outlines how the idea will benefit student learning
  • Selection process: A committee reviews applications and selects grant recipients
  • Funding support: Chosen projects receive funding

These projects extend beyond what traditional district funding can provide and would not be possible without grant support.

Program impact:

  • Expands opportunities for student engagement and achievement
  • Brings innovative resources and experiences into classrooms
  • Reaches students across the entire Frisco ISD community

Thanks to the generosity of supporters, the Frisco Education Foundation has awarded more than $1.3 million in teacher grants—turning innovative ideas into meaningful learning experiences for students.
