MindBender Academy is a week-long summer camp that encourages participants to explore the world of STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. The program debuted in June 2008 and is open to Frisco ISD middle school students. Each day features fun, hands-on activities to extend learning outside the classroom. Curriculum is designed by FISD staff and corporate employees who work in STEAM fields. Students will also have the opportunity to go on a couple field trips to some of our participating partners.

MindBender Academy registration is open to FISD and non-FISD students who will be entering grades 6-8 in the upcoming school year. Students may choose either the morning (8 a.m. – noon), or afternoon (1-5 p.m.) camp option. Students have the option to attend both the morning and afternoon session as long as they register for it. For FISD students only: financial assistance available if needed and on a case by case basis.
